For the second time in its 62-year history, the Roswell Garden Club has been named the top garden club in the state by the Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. They were given this award as a result of the club's accomplishments and activities in 2012. Some of the activities from 2012 included its spring plant sale, flower show, garden cleanups for the Roswell Ramble and co-sponsoring the Fall Farm Days at the Smith Plantation, and the holiday decorating at Smith Plantation, the Visitors' Center, City Hall and Roswell Adult Recreation Center.
