Invitation to Bid #12-236-B was issued for a Backhoe Loader for Water Distribution, and six (6) bids were received ranging from $71,781.16 to $80,513.12. JCB of Georgia was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $71,781.16. The purchase will replace an 18 year old backhoe that no longer meets the department's needs.
