Item Summary:

Following discussion during the July 12, 2011 Committee Meeting, staff met with representatives from a local video broadcast equipment company to ascertain if there was adequate lighting in Chambers for the new camera needed to tape the Mayor and City Council meetings.   New cameras will address most of the lighting issues; however, the video equipment housed in the Clerk's booth is no longer supported by the manufacturer and is not compatible with the proposed digital cameras.  Staff needs further guidance before moving forward with the camera purchase.
