Invitation to Bid (ITB) #13-249-C was issued for a compact track loader for Water Distribution and five (5) bids were received ranging from $49,635.42 to $61,803. Border Equipment Company was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder in the amount of $57,340. Low bidder Bobcat of Atlanta at $49,635.42 did not meet all of the bid specifications. This purchase is to replace the New Holland Skid Steer that has met its useful life.
