Item Summary:
The City of Roswell and its consultant, Gresham Smith and Partners, received recognition for the Big Creek Parkway project.  The project won a GPTQ award for 2013 in the area of "Context Sensitive Design Including Public Participation Plan."  This is the fourth year that the City of Roswell has won a GPTQ Award.
 
This award recognizes the important role the planning process plays in determining the best overall solution to complex engineering challenges.  Projects should achieve meaningful public involvement via innovative techniques and develop context sensitive transportation solutions.
