The AFG program is a U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Federal Emergency Agency (FEMA) grant. The grant funding will be used to install "Vehicle Exhaust Extraction Systems" at Fire Stations three and six. Stations three and six are the only two remaining stations without exhaust systems. The estimated cost of the systems are $55,000. A 20% City match is required in the amount of $11,000. The application deadline is July 6, 2012.
