Item Summary:
In 2004, the Tree Care Planting and Replacement Master Plan was approved but the program years from 2007 to 2008 were delayed because of the drought. In 2011, Council approved the master plan through planting year 2012. This amendment to the master plan extends the schedule to 2014. The practice has been to give priority each year to replacing those trees within the public rights of way that require removal due to death, disease, or storm damage. During FY 2014, a wholesale review of the plan will be undertaken to coordinate with areas of redevelopment.

On March 27, 2013 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the April 8, 2013 Mayor and Council Agenda.
