Item Summary:
The City made a claim to Travelers Casualty and Surety of America, the bonding company for the developer of Phase 11 of Barrington Farms Subdivision, Crown Development LLC, regarding the developer's requirement to provide seven street lights in Phase 11. The bonding company has approved the City's claim in the amount of $4,336.27 as required for Georgia Power to install street lights matching the previous 10 Phases.  The bonding company has requested a release from any further claims.  The release is authorized but is subject to receipt of the payment.

On August 28, 2013 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the Mayor and Council Agenda.
 
Financial Impact:
Upon approval of the budget amendment, $4,336.27 will be established under the Street Light Program project account, ORG 35042200, OBJ 542300, Project 95004 for the Barrington Farms Street Lights.  The estimated monthly cost for the seven street lights is $113.19 or $16.17 per light.
