Item Summary:
PEDS is a results-oriented pedestrian advocacy organization helping to make metro Atlanta more pedestrian-friendly. Their main purpose is to encourage a better balance between people and cars.  PEDS honors outstanding projects, places, groups and individuals that have contributed significantly toward making metro Atlanta safer, more accessible and enjoyable for all pedestrians.
The PEDS awards committee selected the Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacon Installation at Centennial High School under the "Traffic Operations" Category for one of their annual Golden Shoe Awards.
