Item Summary:
This is a service/maintenance agreement for the provision of Detention Center medical services. With the change in inmate population, this contract modifies the City's existing medical services agreement with Correct Health of Roswell, LLC. It transitions from onsite healthcare staffing to a 24/7 provider and provider on-call model in a virtual environment, whereby the City Detention Officers will contact the provider and the provider will direct the course of action including necessary in person visits.

On September 11, 2012 the Public Works and Public Safety Committee recommended placing this Item on the September 24, 2012 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
The annual cost of this contract is $76,265.60 and represents a 48% reduction in fees from the existing contract. Funds are approved and available in Org 10032260, object 521201.
