Body
Item Summary:
The applicant is requesting a change in rezoning from R-1 & R-2 to R-1 and R-THA with multiple concurrent variances.  This application has also been reviewed by the ARC since the property is located within the river corridor.   The ARC has found the proposed request to be consistent.  The applicant has also submitted to the State for a variance to the stream buffer and a variance to the Army Corps of Engineers to allow for the piping of the stream.  The Army Corps of Engineers has given their authorization to allow for the piping of the stream.  The only agency which has not completed their review is the Environmental Protection Division of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
