Item Summary:

As part of the City's Sesquicentennial Celebration, a time capsule was created to be filled with items relative to the City's 150^th year celebration and to be opened 50 years after the Sesquicentennial in 2054.  The recommended location for the time capsule is to bury it at the bottom of the steps in front of City Hall.

Committee or Staff Recommendation:

On November 12, 2013 the Administration, Finance, Recreation and Parks Committee recommended placing this Item on the November 25, 2013 Mayor and Council Agenda.

On October 24, 2013 the Recreation Commission recommended that the capsule be buried at the bottom of the steps in front of the circle at City Hall.
