The City of Roswell has been recognized as the 2014 Stormwater Management Program of the Year (Phase I MS4 Community) by GAWP. The award is based on the City's efforts above and beyond the permit requirements in the measures of pollution prevention/good housekeeping for municipal operations, illicit discharge detection and elimination, construction site runoff control, post-construction stormwater management in new development and redevelopment, and public education, outreach, involvement and participation on stormwater impacts.
