Item Summary:
The City was recently awarded Federal L230 funds from the Atlanta Regional Commission to perform a Planning Study for Phases 3 and 4 of Big Creek Parkway.  The total amount of the study is $350,000 and requires a $70,000 match.  The North Fulton Community Improvement District (NFCID) has agreed to partner with the City to pay 50% of the required match in the amount of $35,000.  The City's match was approved as part of the FY 2013 mid-year budget adjustment.
The study will evaluate the feasibility of two future connections originating from the Big Creek Parkway alignment: one is east of GA400 up to the south end of North Point Parkway, and the other is west of GA400 to a point to be determined on Mansell Road and possibly to Westside Parkway.
