Item Summary:
As part of the utility coordination effort for the Holcomb Bridge Road Westbound Improvements Project, Fulton County water facilities have been identified which must be adjusted or relocated to accommodate the project. Fulton County has requested the work be included in the City's construction contract with the County reimbursing the City for the work.
The cost estimate is $68,500 for construction of this portion of the project. The County has completed the design on their portion of the project and will submit their plans for inclusion in the construction bid documents. The Memorandum of Understanding was approved by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners on February 5, 2014.

On February 26, 2014 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the March 10, 2014 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Construction cost for this portion of the project will be completely reimbursed by Fulton County. Upon approval of Budget Amendment 31242101-03-10-14, a revenue budget will be established in Org 31242101, Object 337300, and Project 92011. The total construction estimate is approximately $1,500,000 to be funded through the bond.
