Item Summary:

Martins Landing Foundation (MLF) has requested an extension of their approved Lakes and Ponds Partnership Program funds from Fiscal Year 2011 to Fiscal Year 2012. The extension will allow time for the MLF to receive the required approval from the Georgia Safe Dams Division before Martin Lake can be dredged. This is the third extension.

On June 14, 2011 the Public Safety & Public Works Committee recommended placing this Item on the June 27, 2011 Mayor and Council Agenda.

Financial Impact:

The Martins Landing Foundation Lakes and Ponds balance is $100,000 and is available in Cost Center 7131, Account #541200 and Project #05ENV014.
