Item Summary:
The Water Treatment Plant Conceptual Plan includes a new 3.0 MGD plant and 10 million gallon raw water storage tank.  The Plan accommodates the relocation of two Recreation & Parks buildings and mitigation of several parking spaces displaced by the proposed raw water storage tank location.  The Plan also includes replacement maintenance yard space for staging of equipment and materials for both Water Resources and Recreation & Parks.
 
Committee or Staff Recommendation:
On October 9, 2012 the Public Safety and Public Works Committee recommended placing this Item on the October 22, 2012 Mayor and Council Agenda.
 
Financial Impact:
$247,082.66 is currently approved and available for pre-design of the new Water Plant in Org 50544300, Object 541300, Project 80010. Funding for repayment of the GEFA loan will come from the Water Fund. At the time of acceptance of the loan, revenue/other financing sources and expenditures/other financing uses accounts will be established.
