Item Summary:
This project will replace approximately 435 linear feet of the current substandard 2 inch galvanized steel main with 8 inch ductile iron to improve pressure and flows in the area. It will also improve fire protection and water quality by adding a fire hydrant. There have been numerous leaks and breaks in this old line over the past few years.

On February 15, 2011 the Public Safety & Public Works Committee recommended placing this item on the February 28, 2011 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Budget Amendment 440C-02-28-11 will appropriate $70,000 from the completed Warsaw Road Waterline Project No. 09GRA007, Cost Center 440C, Account No. 541420 leaving a balance of $26,215.77 to the Windflower Trace Waterline Extension, Project Number 11ENV017, Cost Center 440C, Account Number 541420.
