Item Summary:
Invitation to bid #14-058-C was issued and nine bids were received ranging from $1,069,320 to $1,477,815.90. Blount Construction was the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for this project in the amount of $1,069,320.
 
The project consists of patching, milling, leveling, resurfacing and restriping various roads throughout the City.  Construction should begin in May 2014 and should be completed within 180 calendar days, weather permitting.

On March 26, 2014 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the April 14, 2014 Mayor and Council Agenda.

Funds in the amount of $2,718,780.66 are approved and available in the Resurfacing project account, ORG 35042200, OBJ 522205, Project 90001
