Item Summary:
Invitation to Bid #14-072-C was issued and three (3) bids were received with costs ranging from $95,980 to $139,741 for the SR 140/Holcomb Bridge Road at Warsaw Road Intersection Improvement. Kissberg Construction Inc. was the lowest, responsive responsible bidder in the amount of $95,980.
This project consists of extending the westbound left-turn lane along SR 140 approximately 240 feet and modifying the median noses to improve the left turn radius. This is a GDOT funded operational improvement project and was identified in the HBR Corridor Study as short-term project #6. Roswell will provide local oversight of design and construction.

On April 30, 2014 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the May 12, 2014 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funds in the amount of $95,980,000 will be available in the Grant Project Account; 22142200, 541415, 91010.
