Description:

The Committee previously approved shallow well investigation pending EPD guidance. EPD has provided generic guidance that this exploration is a suitable approach; however, a formal meeting is required for approval of the City's specific request. Staff would like permission to proceed with geophysical field studies while trying to secure the required EPD meeting. This is time critical because the study is hampered by emerging leaf and vegetation cover. No drilling would occur until after the meeting with EPD. We expect to finalize the EPD meeting this week. Estimated cost of this phase of work is $18,500.
