Item Summary:

This is an intersection improvement project to add turn lanes and a varying width raised median from the intersection of Mansell Circle and SR9 extending north along SR9 to the intersection of Commerce Parkway and also extending from the intersection of SR92 at Mansell Extension along SR92 to the intersection of the Roswell Mall entrance on SR140.

The City's right-of-way acquisition consultant, Ralph N. Brown and Associates, is ready to begin acquiring right of way. The total costs include fee simple, permanent easement, and site improvement costs.

There are twelve (12) parcels involved in this project. However, one (1) parcel will have greater impacts to its property. A Cost to Cure has been completed for this parcel and is being reviewed by GDOT. This will be handled as a separate issue and brought back to Council at a later date.
