Item Summary:
GDOT has programmed funding to implement the short-term project #6 identified in the HBR Corridor Study. This project includes extending the westbound left-turn lane approximately 350 feet and reconstructing the median noses to improve the turning radius. This is a 100% GDOT funded operational improvement project. To expedite the project, GDOT is partnering with the City. The City will provide local oversight of design and construction. The PFA with GDOT establishes the project budget and responsibilities.

On October 24, 2012 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the November 14, 2012 Mayor and Council Agenda.
