Item Summary:
A call for applications was issued and eight applications were received for the FY 2014 Contract for Cultural Services (CFCS) Program. All applicants were required to attend a CFCS workshop to learn about how to submit an application and about the program requirements. A "Peer Review Panel" of professional representatives of the disciplines of the various applicant organizations was convened.  The Cultural Arts Board approved the contracts recommended by the Peer Review Panel.  The following contracts were approved by the Cultural Arts Board:

Committee or Staff Recommendation:
On September 10, 2013 the Administration, Finance, Recreation and Parks Committee recommended placing this Item on the September 23, 2013 Mayor and Council Agenda.
 
Financial Impact:
$28,700 is currently approved for the Contracts for Cultural Services program in org 10061700, object 521400, project 67003. $25,000 was approved in the FY 14 Approved Budget and $3,700 is available from the FY 13 allocation.  The proposed allocations for FY 14 are in the attached Table (Proposed Allocations for FY14).
