Item Summary:
The Community Wildlife Habitat Certification program recognizes communities that have successful environmental preservation programs and provide the four key habitat criteria for attracting and sustaining wildlife: Food, Water, Cover, and Places to raise young. Completion of the certification program would place Roswell as one of only three communities in Georgia to obtain this certification. Benefits of certification include protection and preservation of natural resources and greenspace and educational opportunities for students. Funding for this project will be provided through grants and community partners.
