Item Summary:
The City of Roswell has been awarded $42,701.04 to build capabilities that enhance local homeland security through the connection to the State's Mobile Biometric Fingerprint Identification System. The Georgia Emergency Management Association (GEMA) as grantee, will maintain overall responsibility and accountability to the federal government for the duration of the program; the funds are awarded to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), as Sub grantee; and has awarded the funds to the City of Roswell, as Sub Recipient; in accordance with the FY2010 State Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP).

Financial Impact:
Upon approval of budget amendment #3224G1-09-19-11, funds in the amount of $42,701.04 will be available in Cost Center 3224G1, Account #542100, Project #12GRA001.
