Item Summary:
The MOU with Fulton County will guarantee reimbursement of the relocation costs of three (3) waterlines. The waterlines will be moved from under the existing roadway to behind the curb in the shoulder of the proposed roadway. This utility work will be included in the project construction contract and Fulton County will reimburse the City for the actual costs. The cost estimate for the relocations is $347,803.
 
Fulton County is also completing the design for these waterlines.
 
Committee or Staff Recommendation:
On May 20, 2009 the Community Development & Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the June 1, 2009 Mayor and Council Agenda.
 
Financial Impact:
The reimbursement will offset charges to Fund 230, Cost Center 9610, Account 541415 and Project 04TRA002.
