Description:
The Convention and Visitors Bureau has requested use of the Cultural Arts Center for the annual Storytelling Festival on Friday and Saturday, June 11 - 12, 2010.  The Cultural Arts Board denied the request because they felt it did not meet the policy requirements.  The Mayor can approve waiver of rental fees for a non-profit; however, the event cannot be on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday.  One of the Storytelling Festival dates falls on a Saturday.
