Item Summary:
This revision of the Ordinance eliminates any changes to Chapter 13 regarding "noise control" that was included in the first and second readings (March 24th and April 14th, respectively) and revises Section 8.8.3 to include a provision for use of the C- weighted unit of sound pressure level as a measurement of compliance and adds time restrictions for amplified sound and outdoor performances. No amplified sound or outdoor performances shall be permitted after 10:00 PM Sunday through Thursday or after 11:00 PM Friday and Saturday.

On March 24, 2014, Mayor and Council approved the first reading of the Ordinance.  On April 14, 2014, Mayor and Council deferred this item to the May 12, 2014 Mayor and Council Agenda.  On April 30, 2014, the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this item on the May 12, 2014 Mayor and Council Agenda.
