Item Summary:
The change order is a result of the approval of a concept change from a standard five (5 ft.) sidewalk to an eight (8 ft.) to ten (10 ft.) multipurpose trail along the south side of Holcomb Bridge Road. This change order will bring the new design contract amount to $165,486.78.
This project will provide 7,000 linear feet of eight (8 ft.) to ten (10 ft.) wide multi-use trail along the south side of HBR/SR 140, beginning from Steeple Chase Drive to Nesbit Ferry Road. Phase I of this project is approximately 1,970 linear feet and will start at Steeple Chase Drive and end at the Horizon at Roswell office condominium complex opposite of East Village / Super Target.

On October 27, 2010 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this item on the November 8, 2010 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funds in the amount of $413,474 are available in the Sidewalk Connectivity Project Cost Center 4210CP, Account 541415, Project #06TRA001.
