Item Summary:
Request for Proposal (RFP) 19-261-C was issued for the Old Mill Park Machine Shop Event Facility Renovation and three (3) proposals were received ranging from $220,115 to $274,900.  MacCallan Group was the lowest, most responsive responsible bidder in the amount of $220,115.
 
The Old Mill Park Machine Shop Event Facility 1st Floor Renovation Project entails the following items to be performed by the contractor;
 
·      Clean interior walls and shutters of 1st floor
·      Repair foundation
·      Repair/repoint bricks and cracks on windows and walls on 1st floor- both inside and outside
·      Repair flooring to meet code
·      Replace all window openings, shutters, louvers, and doors with new products
·      Lighting, signage and fans will also be installed
 
Committee or Staff Recommendation:
On October 14, 2014 the Administration, Finance, Recreation and Parks Committee recommended placing this Item on the October 27, 2014 Mayor and Council Agenda.
 
Financial Impact:
Funding in the amount of $150,000 is currently available in Org 35062000, Object 541200, and Project 66010.
 
Upon approval of Budget Amendment 23062000-10-27-14, $70,115 will be appropriated in the Impact Fee Fund and available in Org 23062000, Object 541200, and Project 66010, for a total available budget of $220,115.
