Item Summary:
This policy provides for partnerships between the City of Roswell and nonprofit organizations to promote the reuse of materials. Only nonprofits will be allowed to have "pass-through" collection bins located at the Recycling Center. For-profit organizations who desire to purchase commodities received at the Recycling Center, are required to register with the City of Roswell Purchasing Division and notify the Recycling Center staff. Commodities sold by the Recycling Center will be on an open competitive basis and sold to the highest bidder from those registered for-profit organizations.
