Item Summary:
Phase II of the Holcomb Bridge Multi-Use Trail consists of ten parcels and this will complete the right of way process. Parcel 19 is requesting fair market value of $4,096 for the needed right of way consisting of 226.59 square feet. Parcel 20 is donating right of way totaling 887.46 square feet.
This project consists of an eight to ten foot multi-use trail along the south side of Holcomb Bridge Road from Steeplechase Road in the west and eastward to the Holcomb Bridge Middle School. The second phase continues to South Holcomb Bridge Way/Nesbit Ferry Road.
Committee or Staff Recommendation:
On August 28, 2013 the Community Development and Transportation Committee recommended placing this Item on the September 11, 2013 Mayor and Council Agenda.
Financial Impact:
Funds in the amount of $109,929.88 are approved and available in the Sidewalk Connectivity Project Account, ORG 35042200, OBJ 541415, Project 92003.
